Mavka (Мавка) - young "dead body", forest nymphs in Slavic mythology. They live in forest and lakes, smth like dark-minded water sprite...or mermaids.
Usualy they wear white dresses (like this [link])... unfortunately I have no bathing dress for full analogy. Also mavkas back have no skin so you can see uncovered flesh.
